ProfessoreKeymaster
Hi there,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We appreciate your feedback. I wanted to inform you that the issue you mentioned regarding the ‘User can remove own reaction’ option not working has been addressed and resolved in the latest version, 5.1.2, of the plugin.
This update is already available for users of the Premium or Trial version. For those using the free version, the same fix will be included in the upcoming release, which is scheduled to be online within the next couple of days.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, and we appreciate your patience as we work to provide the best possible experience for our users.
ProfessoreKeymasterHello, the widget “content with most reactions” filters reactions by one content type, you should select one option from the dropdown:
If you want to see comments reaction you should select “Posts”, if you want comments choose “Comments” and so on.
ProfessoreKeymasterHello, this bug was solved in latest release.
Thank you for reporting.
ProfessoreKeymasterThank you for reporting this bug, the problem is that the first result is cached then the next filters don’t work anymore.
The fix is already in place and will be distributed with the next release, that shoul be numbered 3.21.2,
ProfessoreKeymasterHello, are you using a plugin to embed YouTube videos or just add the url like the one below?
As you see the YouTube auto-embed works fine along with Da Reactions, the bug could be elsewhere.
ProfessoreKeymasterHello, since version 3.20.1 the file names are generated without including the label, so this problem is solved.
Was the same problem as https://www.da-reactions-plugin.com/support/topic/problem-when-change-the-icons/#post-3129
ProfessoreKeymasterHello, you can change the appearance of the numbers using a little CSS.
Read this article: https://www.da-reactions-plugin.com/knowledge-base/faq/how-can-i-resize-the-count-badge/
ProfessoreKeymasterYou can add the Reactions anywhere in your site:
- As a Gutenberg’s block (Add reactions as Gutenberg’s block);
- As a Shortcode (Add reactions to content body using Shortcodes).
ProfessoreKeymasterHello, unfortunately I cannot extend the plugin for you, but I am planning to add filter and action hooks to make it easier for other developers to customize the plugin behaviour.
ProfessoreKeymasterHello, this plugin saves any single reaction into a table named %prefix%da_r_votes.
For each vote will be saved:
- ID a unique identifier;
- resource_id the ID of the resource which the Reaction is attached to;
- resource_type the type of the resource, i.e. post, comment, and so on;
- emotion_id the ID of the reaction itself;
- user_id the ID of the user, if known;
- user_token a pseudo-unique identifier to recognize the user;
- user_ip (if activated in privacy settings) the IP address of the user;
- created_at the timestamp of the single vote.
Please read the Database Structure page to know more about this topic.
ProfessoreKeymasterHello, you may increase the count adding fake Reactions directly to your database.
The fastest way to add Reactions to database is to import a CSV file.
- First, go to Reactions > Votes List;
- Export a CSV of all current Reactions on your site clicking on the Export as CSV button under the table;
- Open the exported CSV file with any software you wish, and add as many rows you want, then save the file;
- Navigate to Reactions > Import to upload your new CSV file;
- Click the button to choose the file or simply drag your file into the page;
- Profit.
ProfessoreKeymasterRead my previous reply to learn how to customize the appearance of the buttons.
ProfessoreKeymasterNavigate to Reactions > Graphic Settings, there is a select which allows you to choose between three different behaviours:
- Exposed: all buttons are immediately visible on big screens, on small screens displays a hamburger toggle button;
- Reveal: only the most used reaction is visible, other icons are revealed on click;
- Static: all reactions are always visible on any screen size.
You may even set a different set of options if you need to offer a different experience to your mobile users, just click on the “Mobile” tab on top.
ProfessoreKeymasterYou should see a “Start Trial” link under the Reactions menu in your dashboard, that’s the first step.
ProfessoreKeymasterNot yet, but it is a good idea, so I move this message on Feature Request.
